Considering and Oral Therapy for Cancer? A comprehensive guide to help patients and caregivers make informed decisions when considering oral therapy within their treatment regime. It includes information on types of therapies, the importance of compliance, and financial concerns. This publication is a good companion to the Patient Active Guide to Living With Advanced Breast Cancer and Frankly Speaking About Lung Cancer, since both types of cancer have oral therapy treatment options.

Frankly Speaking About Lymphoma, first published in 2004, now is available only online.

Small Cell Lung Cancer. Most recently updated in 2004, this publication offers information that is still 95% applicable, according to a TWC medical review. "There really is only one additional finding that could be included," according to the review, "a recent study published in the New England Journal of Medicine that suggests that some patients with extensive stage disease might benefit from prophylactic brain radiation. (T)his is a highly controversial area, but some new literature does support it."
